Early Childhood Programs

Wonderspring provides high-quality early education programs for children six weeks to six years.
Our programs provide an age appropriate curriculum that encourages growth, creativity and curiosity.

Infant program

In their first year of life, trusting relationships are key to a child’s learning. Our infant program offers engaging and welcoming environments, as well as age and developmentally appropriate activities to enhance the day. Wonderspring staff provides a warm environment for children by creating nurturing relationships and regularly communicating with families.

Our teachers understand that a balanced routine includes visual and auditory stimulation with plenty of attention and care. Children will begin to develop a sense of trust as our teachers comfort and interact with them on a daily basis.

Wonderspring’s Infant program provides all the hallmarks of a high-quality infant program as outlined by the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) including:

Time for children to explore and play. Providing interesting materials gives babies a small challenge and allows them to explore for long periods of time. Our programs emphasize activities and materials that encourage your child’s growth across developmental domains. We also monitor each child’s progress to ensure continual development.

Routines that address children’s needs. Routines—like eating, sleeping, and changing diapers—ensure that your baby’s needs are met. They help infants feel secure and start understanding what will happen next. At Wonderspring we provide responsive routines and transitions.

Policies that support children’s health and safety. At Wonderspring health and safety come first. We have developed detailed health and safety policies and procedures to  protect children, staff and families and to ensure babies are ready to learn.

Additionally, Wonderspring’s infant program utilizes The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos,  a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed to enable teachers to implement developmentally appropriate practices and offer responsive daily routines and meaningful experiences that nurture learning and development.
